We believe God has called us to be a church like the first church therefore our values reflect those of the early church.
Our own statements of belief are not intended to be comprehensive of all aspects of life and faith, but are a summary of and guide to our convictions as a “Jesus church.”

SPIRITUAL
FORMATION
We believe that transformation
into the likeness of Jesus is foundational to the life of a disciple.
Jesus called his followers to be disciples and to make disciples. As his disciples we are called to be Kingdom bearers and Kingdom bringers.
EVANGELISM
We believe God created the world and it belongs to him and therefore we should cherish and care for all creation.

We believe we experience pain and suffering in this world because ​have sinned and therefore fallen, and are separated from God, from each other, from ourselves, and from creation.

We believe God loves all his broken creation and is at work to redeem and reconcile his whole creation.

We believe God has expressed himself through his one and only son Jesus, who lived, taught, died, and rose again for our sakes. Jesus is our master, teacher, savior, and friend. We believe anyone who becomes a disciple of Jesus finds salvation and eternal life through him.

We believe God has revealed the truth about himself​ and the world in the scriptures of the Old and New Testament. The Bible is our unique and authoritative guide in faith and action which helps us know God better and therefore know him better.

We believe through his life, death, and resurrection Jesus became King and therefore has set-up his Kingdom. Jesus now reigns forever with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We believe the church has been charged with expanding the Kingdom of God.

We believe that Spirit of God is now available to anyone who ​becomes a disciple of Jesus so we can be closer to God than the air we breathe. It is through the Spirit that we are able to follow Jesus and are transformed into his likeness.

We believe the Church is the community of believers through which God wants to bring love, healing, and growth to the human race. Everyone who is willing to follow Jesus is invited to join the Church.

We believe God exists in triune form as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that He is a being of unimaginably wonderful power, goodness, and love.

We believe all people have dignity and matter because they were created by God in his image. We believe all people have great worth because they are valued by God more than our ability to measure.

Worship is our response to God. In worship we relate to and are able to thank God in the deepest parts of our souls.
WORSHIP
Simply put: We want to LIVE WITH JESUS, so we can LEARN FROM JESUS, in order to BE LIKE JESUS. And we believe we can live this out by applying an UP, IN, OUT strategy.
UP- Developing a transforming relationship with Jesus.
IN- Entering authentic community with each other.
OUT- Bringing the love of God to the San Fernando Valley and beyond.
Strategy
Jesus taught his disciples that they have been entrusted with taking care of each other as well as the advancement of his Kingdom. We have been given much so we can give much.
GENEROSITY
We believe that a disciple's life is lived in community. We were never meant to live life alone. We were always meant to live life with God and with others.
COMMUNITY
Communication is foundational to every relationship. This is true of our relationship with God as well. Prayer is how we communicate with God.
PRAYER
It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are able to become the people God has called us to be and live the lives God has called us to live.
